The ideal morning routine

1. Start working on the most important project as soon as possible.

2. Make sure you have moved the needle.

3. Take a short break.

4. Complete a recurring task: important and not urgent; preferably something you know you ought to do, but usually skip.

5. Get a cup of coffee. You’ve earned it: the day’s just started and you’ve already pushed hard. Well done!
